Windy City Distribution was founded in 1999 as an independent specialty beer distributor. We started when there were very few distributors which touted themselves as “specialty beer” houses. In the years to follow many distributors chose to be brand collectors, but Windy City maintains a limited, strict, high end specialty portfolio. This ensures that the brands we do represent obtain the focus they deserve.

We are beer geeks. Our sales staff is extremely knowledgeable and “sell beer” - they are not “order takers.” All of our sales representatives are required to become Certified Cicerones, and we were the first distributor in the United States to have their entire sales team attain the rank of Certified Cicerone!
